FIELD LEGENDS
FieldPulse | Integrated Campaign
For the Work. Not the Patchwork.

Role: Creative Director. Concept, campaign strategy, creative platform, scripts, visual development, AI-assisted proof of concept.

The Challenge
Every competitor in field service software was talking to the technician. FieldPulse needed to own the other half of the business: the back office, where the owner and office manager hold everything together. The campaign also had to make “back-office maturity” feel like a category worth caring about, not a feature list.

The Insight
Trade business owners are great at the work. What wears them down is everything between the jobs: a scheduling app that doesn’t talk to invoicing, a spreadsheet doing job costing, QuickBooks a day behind, a group text standing in for dispatch. Each tool was a reasonable fix at the time. Stacked together, they become the patchwork.

The Idea: Legend, Interrupted
We treated real trade excellence with the theatrical reverence usually reserved for pro athletes. It was played completely straight, with no wink to camera. Then the software patchwork shows up and wrecks it with a cartoonish, maximalist sight gag.

The rule was that the compliment has to land as true before the joke is allowed to undercut it. That respect is what makes the comedy feel like recognition and not mockery.

Reverence for the craft. Chaos for the patchwork.

The System
One asset system built to scale across the funnel. The joke and tagline stay the same while the proof escalates.

  • Awareness (:30): The full episode: cold open, legend, turn, chaos, a quiet AI-driven assist, end card.

  • Consideration (:15–:20): A compressed cutdown that names a real capability and drives to a Back Office Health Score assessment.

  • Conversion (:06–:10): Five seconds of legend, then a hard cut into product and verified proof, closing on Book a Demo.

  • Static and social (“Legend, Undercut”): A modular headline system pairing a sincere brag with the patchwork reality, written for both personas.

    • “Answers every line on the first ring. Still logs into five apps to book one job.”

Persona Translations

  • Owner: Know your numbers without chasing them.

  • Office Manager: You run the office. You don’t chase it.
